kluelos Posted September 17, 2010 Share Posted September 17, 2010 All bittorrent clients work in the same way and do the same things, rigidly defined by the bittorrent protocol. If one client were clearly faster, we'd all be using that one and the others would die out. Clients come with a variety of default configurations, though. If you try one whose defaults are more nearly a match to your line and your system, it will seem to be faster and better, but in truth any client would work as well when properly set up. If torrents are still associated with BitComet, and BitComet still starts up at all, then you most assuredly did not uninstall it correctly, if you uninstalled it at all. Evidently you did not. This leads to the question of exactly what you did do, and what state your system is in. Since you didn't even describe which version of Windows you're using, let alone the other information we ask for in the message titled, READ BEFORE POSTING we're at a loss to help you much further.
