If you have trouble in using BitComet, you can either find your answer in our WIKI, or make a post in our forum "BitComet General Discussion" section.

Also, provide all the information said below, each time that you expose a new topic.

1) What version of BitComet are you using?

2) What type of Internet connection do you have (ADSL, etc.)?

3) Do you have a modem? Do you use a router? What make and model are each one of them? Have you forwarded your port?

4) If you have more than one router, be sure to mention the make and model of both devices, how are they connected (i.e. in which connector of both devices is the network cable plugged) and which one of the devices is connected to or is the modem.

Also, if you have more than one computer make sure to mention in this case, to which router is every one of them connected.

5) What version of Windows, Firewall and Antivirus do you use?

6) If you are asking about a specific torrent or file that you have downloaded, make sure that you include the complete torrent name, as well as the complete names of the files and their respective extensions/formats (e.g.: .rar, .wma, .bin, .cue, etc.).

7) For speed-related issues, please run various speed tests at a site such as speedtest.net (make sure that no other computer is using your Internet connection and that all other programs - including BitComet - are closed, during the tests). Include the results, along with the settings that you are presently using, in your post, so that we may review and offer suggestions to improve its performance.

The lack of said information will result, as direct consequence, in your post being ignored and/or deleted, leaving way to a clean and tidy forum, for those who follow the rules.

OK, I'll take a wild guess on your issue.

1. Whenever BitComet finishes downloading a task it may perform a hash-check; it is an integrity check of all the downloaded material.

During that hash-check the meaning of the value in the "Progress" column changes from "percent of the task downloaded" to "percent of the task hash-checked". As soon as the hash-check is finished (reaches 100%) the "Progress" column will revert back to showing the "downloaded percent of the task".

2. You can download simultaneously as many tasks as you've set the limit to on the Options-->Task page. However, it is a good idea to match the number of simultaneously running tasks accordingly to your tested upload capacity; running too many tasks at the same time will spread your upload bandwidth too thin, therefore transforming you into a very poor peer (read a peer with whom no other peer will want to trade) and yield poor download speeds.

If this doesn't answer your questions then you'll have to do a better job at explaining your issue (answering the questions above is a good place to start).

Otherwise, have fun.
