DHT stands for distributed hash table, its a way of having the peers perform the function of the tracker.

This is not required to use bit torrent protocall, and some trackers do not allow using of dht.

As for your torrents not working, are you using active torrent? or do you know that a torrent has to be active to work?

If there are no seeds present, it will never download. I suggest you find an active torrent and confirm if there is really a problem with your setup, or if you have just chosen dead torrents, then we can help you better.

If you would like to learn more about bit torrent protocall, have a look here...

My Internet connection is of 256Kbps and my bitcomet download does not show my speed connectiong, I know it's not very fast but limewire does better (like 30 Kb/s), but I preffer Bitcomet cause I can find everything by torrents. (I already set Max down:32, and Max up:8, according to my speed)

So I need help to improve my downloading speed in Bitcomet, in Bitcomet my speed downloading rate is of 0Kb/s to 5Kb/s. Help!!!!!!!

The two of you should go through our guide and double check all your settings. Make sure you're using the fully updated version of BC.

Make sure your software firewalls allow full access to the web meaning outgoing & incoming aka server access. Also make sure you allow TCP & UDP connections.

If you have firewall routers go to www.portforward.com and look up how to configure them.
