please i need help ican't detect my upload and download speeds because ican't find any server near to me

(egypt) to make the test the server in south africa give wrong data .

is ther is any software can i use it or any near server .

Hi,

The only way I know of to test your upload and download is to connect to a site that can measure your band width.

I don't think its possible to measure your connection without accually using it, if thats what you mean.

The following is my own personal opinion, but I have had better sucess finding settings using this method, although it does require a very healthy torrent to get an accurate sample (lots of peers and seeds), and is only a starting point.

Let your client run with just one very healthy torrent running with upload set to unlimited, observe what rate your upload is running at on adverage. Then set your max upload to about 80% of the observed upload. This tests your upload under real working conditions, not just a short test conecting directly to a test sight.

Nothing in Egypt, but I'd think something in Southern Europe would better for you than SA.
