kluelos Posted August 27, 2006 Share Posted August 27, 2006 You've apparently jumped into Bittorrent without understanding it. All clients simultaneously download and upload. Those that don't or can't upload get snubbed by the software. A file is split into pieces. The seeder hands out a piece to a leecher, then it's fully expected/required that the leecher share that piece with other leechers. When a leecher has finally obtained all the pieces, it becomes a seeder, uploading only. Seeders should maintain that status until they've uploaded as much as they've downloaded, a 1:1 ratio or 1.00 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
