The easiest way is to keep the task in bit comet.

If you want to seed files again, just start the torrent just as you did before, and as soon as bit comet rehashes the files, it will begin to seed.

I'm seeing two separate issues here. Maybe more.

The torrent must be loaded and active in BitComet or some bittorrent client, in order to be uploaded.

That can be because you never stopped/removed it, or because you added it in again later to seed it.

For any particular torrent, you can set the download location to something other than the default. This means that when you want to seed, and you are adding the torrent to BitComet, you have the option to change the source directory during the starting dialogue. Actually using it can be a little tricky, but play with it and you'll get the hang of it. BC wants to be pointed at the directory above the file directory, if it is a directory. You'll know you've got it right when BC finds 100% of the torrent.

In BitComet's Favorites window, which many users close completely and never look at, up at the top there are task folders. By selecting one of these, you will see only that sort of task in the main window -- Seeds only, leeches only, etc. These can be used to reduce display clutter.

Alternatively, if you have a decent understanding of, and respect for your upload bandwidth, it is possible to run a second bittorrent client simultaneously. This could be another instance of BitComet on a different listen port, or it could be another client altogether. You can use this second client for your seeding. Note that the upload speeds on both must be capped to something reasonable. If you don't understand this or don't know how to do it, don't try it.
