tigger81vs Posted October 30, 2006 Share Posted October 30, 2006 I've downloaded a program, its at 100%, but cant figure out how to open it. I've tried reading some of the guides but they have confused me further. Please help! When I try to open it says "Torrent Task Existed!" and a Task Properties box opens. kluelos Posted October 30, 2006 Share Posted October 30, 2006 You're trying to eat the menu. Eat the meal instead of the menu. A .torrent file is just a descriptor that tells bittorrent where and how to get its contents. Like a map. The map isn't the territory it describes. You open the .torrent file in BitComet, and BC downloads the contents into its default download directory.
