I just discover that if i change the name of the folder where some seeds are located, bitcomet start downloading the files again and stop sharing the files. Is there a way to change the folders name without stop sharing?? Example: I downloaded some Ray Charles Albuns, but the name of the folder ir "320@". I want to change the folder name to "Ray Charles" but when i do this it stop seeding and begin downloading the same torrent again. Any suggestions?? Tks! The UnUsual Suspect Posted July 7, 2006 Share Posted July 7, 2006 If you shut down your client, then rename the folder, then restart the torrent like when you first downloaded it, but select your save location to the newly named folder. Your client will then scan (rehash) the files and begin seeding. By renaming the folder, you in effect "moved" the files, and your client no longer knows they are there.
