kluelos
James, you need to read more. The issue you ask about is covered in the FAQ. If you still have a problem, then you need to provide the information that we request when you ask for help. It's really obvious stuff like, which version you are using, and which OS, and what kind of connection you have. If the FAQ doesn't answer your question, and a search of the forum doesn't turn up anyone else who has had the same problem and solved it, then first read about how to ask for help before you do so. mrpappagiorgio
Okay the only way that i have ever had a red x by my torrent task is when i am using a portable hard drive and saving the torrent on the hard drive, and my hard drive gets unplugged. I would make sure that whatever hard drive you are using you make sure that it is plugged in correctly. That is the only thing that i can think would cause this problem. kluelos
mrpappagiorgio, there are several other causes. They're listed in the FAQ, as jameswright was told. But the message you're replying to is from September 1. I suspect he's solved the problem by now, don't you? Considering that he never responded further, never visited the forum since September 2, I doubt he will ever even see your answer. He's probably forgotten all about even asking, by now. Posting a new reply to a thread that is already dead is called "necroposting", and is strongly frowned upon here and on most other forums of any sort. Please pay attention to the date of what you're replying to, and don't necropost.
