desgnr Posted August 28, 2012 Share Posted August 28, 2012 Everytime i use Bit Comet Version .70 i keep getting NOT RESPONDING with an hour glass & eventually it goes away & comes back again. Version .70 was a very stable version and several years ago many users considered it one of the best, so if it doesn't work for you then I'd suspect something on your PC is at fault, but there have been many advancements since those days so you really should update. The UnUsual Suspect Posted August 28, 2012 Share Posted August 28, 2012 Very true, but in a swarm with a good number of bitcomet peers, you can get much better performance with a newer version due to its use of multi protocol and cross protocol downloading. LTseed alone can make a huge difference on some tasks, but when restricted to only bittorrent peers, version .70 will perform equal to any newer version or competing clients when properly configured.
