bitcomet slows down my internet

hi why is it when i use bitcomet my internet is slow? thanx

This should be quite obvious.

any programs that move data on your connection will use part of your bandwidth. This will slow down loading of web pages, and all internet functions.

You can limit the speed of bit comet to make surfing the web faster, but of course it will slow your downloads.

The only option that won't have a "downside" is to get a faster internet connection.

When I use Flashget , it uses almost all bandwidth,

but I can brows web page as normal speed,

When I use Emule, I can brows web page as normal speed too!!!

But only Bitcomt,

even though Bitcomt just uses a little bandwidth,

my internet slow down very much!!!

儘管Bitcomt 只有使用了3K

可是整個網路速度卻會明顯降低

平常只要3秒就能開的網頁

變成要花30秒!!!!

這種情況非常明顯!!!

只要一開啟Bitcomt 下載就會明顯變慢

一關掉又變快

我使用騾子或是flashget 都不會有這情況

別再說程式上下傳資料都會佔用頻寬這種普通常識的解釋了

這些小朋友都懂

問題是頻寬是可以輪流平均使用的

Bitcomt 的使用情況看起來是獨占性的啊!!!

Bit torrent protocall uses both download, and upload bandwidth. Since most users have limited upload bandwidth, it is very easily used to its limit when running torrents. This is why your browsing is slowed down.

You can lower your max upload speed, but that will lower your download speeds, and require more time to complete your seeding.

If I knew your connection speeds, and the settings you are using, I could advise you more specifically.
