romardeiro
Hello. I get the blocked yellow light and it downloads slowly. I've read a reply to another person, regarding this situation, and it says that the first thing is to look for the IP... but I do as they say (Run-->type 'cmd'--> Accept) and I get a black screen with letters, but it doesn't read my IP, and I can't continue doing what they say. astuias
Yo tengo windows 7. I have Windows 7. I press over the Windows icon, write 'cmd' and, on the MS-DOS screen that appears, type "ipconfig" - in the last line, the IP appears for you to enter in the router. In my case 192.168.2.1, therefore, I access the router with http://192.168.2.1/. I'll add my experience with antiviruses: I only get the green light with Norton (Norton 360 and with NIS) - with Kaspersky and Panda I gave up, and I ended up going back to Norton. Regards! kluelos
I cannot give you any answers without knowing much more about your connection. I need the information that was requested in the sticky topic marked, "PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING".
Hello, romardeiro. Instead of reading a thread about this issue and remain a bit lost and/or confused, I suggest that you head over to our Tutorials' forum, where you will find (amongst many other things) a Guide, specifically detailing what has to be done in order to forward your listen port and establish a Static IP. You can find the link by clicking on its own title, which you can find in my signature. If afterwards, you are still having any doubts or questions, as my colleague, kluelos, says, please provide what we consider to be the Essentials and make sure to include the maximum amount of detailed information (speed test results, the settings that you're using, which Tutorial/s you have followed, etc.) possible - the more, the better. Regards.
cassie
Hola, astuias. Hello, astuias. Just a small comment... it's true that there are some antivirus' security "Suites" that are better behaved than others, when it comes time to interact with p2p programs, but I will say that the antivirus that is installed in your computer, normally has nothing to do with if your listen port is open or not and, (of course), with establishing a static IP. astuias
¡Hola cassie! Hello, cassie! I tried with Kaspersky and even went into their website to open the ports... I gave up. With Norton, I don't have to open any port at all - it (the program) takes care of allowing the programs. Regards!
